Today was another fun today. Of course it is super hot and I am mildly burned. Nothing like having a huge piña colada before noon – yum! Then another before returning to the hotel. I am in piña colada heaven. Lots of shopping was done today. I only have a tiny bit more shopping to do for souvenirs and then my shopping is complete. Tomorrow we may do a river boat cruise while we can, just in case the hurricane hits. It is kind of crazy, last time I planned on coming to New Orleans I had to cancel my trip due to hurricane Katrina, this time there is a possibility of a hurricane.
I really am enjoying New Orleans. It is very hot and humid here during the day, but the evenings and nights are nice. There is something about the heat and the energy here that draws you in.
