Book Vending Machines

One of the coolest things that I have started doing over the past two weeks is making use of the library’s vending machines at the transit station. I think it is a brilliant idea to have book vending machines at the transit station for many reasons – it gives library patrons easy  access to material while they are on the go and I also think it is a great way to promote the library. Maybe if people see the vending machines at the station it will provide motivation for them to go get a library card. The selection may not be the best but it is still nice to have a way to grab something to read on the go.
